Fundraising Expectations: In order to participate in the event you must raise at least $100

Plunging as a Team or Individual:
If you are a solo plunger and want to register as an individual, indicate that you will be plunging as an individual when you register. If you would like to take the Plunge with your friends, simply come up with a team name. Each person registering online must register as an individual on the team page or if you’re registering with the brochure, make sure your team name is listed. No matter how you register, all plungers still need to raise the minimum $100 to participate.
What to Wear:
We suggest outer clothing that is warm and can be changed into and out of easily. You may wear a bathing suit, wet suit, or drysuit, and certainly no skinny-dipping! We strongly recommend you wear shoes in the water.
When + Where to turn in the money you have collected:
Plunge Registration table at Leggetts Sandbar 217 First Ave, Manasquan, February 7, 2025, 6-9 pm, and February 8, 2025, 10 am to 11:45 am.
Event Schedule:
Register online. Plunge is at 12 pm NOON at Manasquan Main Beach at the end of East Main Street.
Friday and Saturday In-Person Registration and SWAG pick up at Leggetts.

The Joan Dancy & pALS Foundation was formed in 2005 by Terry Magovern in honor of Joan Dancy, his late fiancé, after she succumbed to ALS. Our mission is to help people in our local communities afflicted with ALS by providing a better quality of life for them and their families.
